Who operates the app

Using the app without an account

You may use the core app without creating an account. Guest journal content and settings remain on the device. The app does not upload guest journal content to BH Global Consulting.

Optional account and encrypted backup

If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, the authentication provider supplies an account identifier and may supply basic profile information such as an email address or display name. Supabase processes this authentication information for the app.

Before cloud persistence, journal entries, reviews, and settings are encrypted on the device. Supabase receives encrypted vault data, revision and schema information, an opaque device identifier, and timestamps. It does not receive readable journal content or a readable vault key.

The service may keep owner-accessible encrypted backups for up to 30 days. A recovery code can protect the same vault key across iPhone and Android. Only a wrapped-key envelope and its cryptographic parameters are stored in the cloud; the recovery code and readable key are not uploaded. BH Global Consulting cannot recover or reset a lost recovery code.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing processes purchases. The app may process product identifiers, storefront-localized prices, purchase status, and current entitlements to provide Scales Plus or other store products. Payment credentials are handled by Apple or Google, not by BH Global Consulting.

Feedback and support

Feedback is sent only when you initiate it. It may include the text you write and basic technical details you choose to include, such as app version, language, or platform. Journal entries, review content, reports, and spiritual statistics are never attached automatically.

Analytics, sponsorships, and advertising

Anonymous product analytics is off by default. The app does not send journal content, entry metadata, or derived spiritual statistics to analytics. Sponsor or charity messages use public campaign configuration and local frequency controls. The current app does not transmit sponsor impressions or taps.

Sharing and sale

BH Global Consulting does not sell personal information. Information is processed by service providers only as needed to operate optional authentication, encrypted backup, store purchases, and user-initiated support. The principal providers are Apple, Google, and Supabase, subject to their own policies and legal obligations.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you remove it in the app or uninstall the app. Signing out can remove the account-scoped local vault and encryption key from that device. Cloud records remain associated with the authenticated account until the account and its data are deleted. To request account and cloud-data deletion, contact bhadmin@bhglobalconsultingllc.com. A dedicated in-app deletion control is being added before public release.

Security and limits

The native app uses platform secure storage for encryption keys. No system is completely secure. If all devices containing a key and every saved copy of the recovery code are lost, encrypted journal content may be permanently unrecoverable.

Children and changes

The app is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
